Off to see England V Australia
Today is a fairly big day for me, many years ago I watched Russia play against Fiji in a minor World Cup international rugby league game here in Barrow, today I go to my first international since and a biggie to boot, England against Australia. Of course fist I’ve got to get there and before I go about getting there I have to do the shopping, Jonathan and I will be off to do the weekend shop in a short while.
Then later on, at 11:25 am in fact, Gareth and I will be catching the train to Wigan which is where the game is being held, its an international clash in the Four Nations tournament between England (C’MON ENGLAND) and Australia, it should be an awesome experience, my first proper, big international and its England V Australia, I am so looking forward to it, we will be coming home later today, again by train.
I’m looking forward to a great game of rugby, well I’m hoping for one, and I’m hoping desperately for a decent result for England. A draw would be a good result, all be it an improbable one, there has already been one draw in this tournament and they aren’t exactly common in rugby league, a win would be a dream result, Australia are a great side and I’m just not sure if the England team has enough to stay with them.
Anyway no matter it should be a good day out.
