WELCOME TO MY WORLD – The Tortoise Table
Hi I’m Kevin “The Happy Snapper” and this is my general blog, diary and “Tortoise Table” web site, this welcome page is to give an idea of what is held within, meanwhile for those who are simply here to read my blog please CLICK HERE TO GO DIRECTLY TO THE BLOG, or go to the “Blog” tab at the top of this page.
Ok so what is “WELCOME TO MY WORLD, aka The Tortoise Table”.
The first part of the title Welcome To My World refers to my blog which consists of a diary / journal of my very mundane life as well as a general blog covering many topics, some of these topics are included in the list of categories found on the side bar of this page. There is also a my “MY BIO PAGE” on one of the page tabs, also at the top of this page, which has a very short personal history of me, in addition to my Bio I also have a category “About Me” which contains posts that give a little something of me away, this is on the category list on the side panel of this page. Of course this being my blog it contains all of the things that a blog should contain (I think) and probably a few things that a blog shouldn’t contain (maybe), it does occasionally enter the realms of self administered therapy and I don’t apologise for this, occasionally I need it, I will also write something rather more serious about something if I feel the need (possibly in the “Thinky Bits” category on the side bar) and may occasionally go off on a rant about something. Anyway if you have visited this blog previously then you know what to expect, but regardless of whether you have visited this blog before or not feel free to explore.
“The Tortoise Table” was a tortoise based website I used to have which has now been discontinued and wholly replaced by this blog page. Just below here there are links to my Tortoise Stuff category and my Tortoise Care Sheet for easy access to tortoise related items within this blog, they are also on the category list on the sidebar.
I will be adding tortoise related items as I go along in my “Tortoise Stuff” category, amongst other things this holds a photo album of “Timmy and Tammy photos”, and an entry called “Introducing Timmy and Tammy” which tells you about my own tortoises and will be updated as new things happen, my “Tortoise Care Sheet” also appears in this general tortoise stuff category as well as in its own category for easy location. I will add further tortoise based entries as I go along and of course Timmy and Tammy will get the odd mention within my general blog as well.
You will also find some, hopefully, useful links in the “Internet Link” section on the sidebar of this page.
In addition to this blog / website I have my “Facebook page” which is the other place I can be contacted, these then are my main homes on the internet, the only ones I really use now. This is where I do all my writing, it also acts as my web site as well as my blog, meanwhile Facebook is where I do my online socialising when I’m in the mood.
I also have a Flick’r page which is where most of my own photos can be found, please feel free to check these out, the “majority” of photos used within my posts on this site are also my own photos (as seen on Flick’r). By the way both the images of my own used in this blog and all the photos on my Flick’r page are my sole property and copyright and should not be used by anyone for anything without my express permission.
